The Rold07 Jamborette
- Your favourite summer camp 2007?
Come to Denmark's biggest forest and join a jamborette in the Rold forest year 2007.
July and August 2007 we celebrate both our 60 years jamborette anniversary, and the very first hike, on Brown Sea Island in 1907.
We do hope to welcome 1000 boys and girl scouts from all over the world, at our jamborette.
Pick a train - our campsite is situated 20 minutes of walk away from the train station Skørping/ "Skorping", DK.
The campsite is situated inside the forest named "Rold Skov".
There are two wonderful forest lakes near by. After one hour of walking in the forest you will meet another wonderful lake, which is a nice bathing place. It is called: "Madum Sø" / Madum Lake.
The purpose of the camps program and idea are to create friendships across the borders and to give the scouts great experiences together with their contemporaries. The forests many routes gives a great possibility to experience spectacular hikes - during the jamborette program.
Taken together the activities and the program is planned to face the level of challenge every participant and age group must have.
The jamborette is held in an area of Denmark called Himmerland - like in 1947.
Whole Himmerland is combined in the scout division called: "Rold Skov Division."
In this division 900 scouts live their daily life, and here the camps home hospitality is offered. Guides and leaders of Rold Skov Division in particular make the staff at Rold Skov Jamborette.

- All of Denmark is situated on islands - except this one: Jylland. (Just above Germany, and next to Norway and Sweden.
- Catering corps and food supply during camp is all included.
- First aid available round the clock.
- Both Boy- and Girl Scouts are welcome.
- Age: From 12. (Danes - 6 years)
- Children to guides and leaders are very welcome as well.
- Home hospitality offered before, as well as after, the Jamborette.
- Materials like poles and tools are supplied by the Jamborette.
- When you recieve your confirmation on your enrolment, you will at the same time recieve an order form for our materialshop.
At this shop you can order rope or cheap string along with other specific camp gear that is too unhandy or too heavy to bring along on your journey to Denmark. At the end of the jamborette, the shop will do its best to arrange buyers to used gear.
